CopyWriter Blu-RayMicroboards Technology, a well-known disc duplicator, officially released their new Blu-Ray Duplicator towers for you to enjoy and play with. What in the world is a Blu-Ray duplicator tower you ask? Well, what Microboards did was dump 4 or 10 (your choice) Blu-Ray drives into a tower that can connect to your Mac or PC via USB 2.0, or can be used as a standalone unit to make your task of duplicating or burning Blu-Ray discs much more efficient.

The product, called CopyWriter Blu-Ray, ships in a pretty darn ugly tower and uses standard BD-R and BD-RE media that pack a maximum capacity of 25GB. Microboards claims you can duplicate up to ten Blu-Ray discs in the time it takes to burn just one with the tower, and offers a two-year warranty just in case you decide to chuck it out the window when HD-DVD wins the war. Whoa, did I just say that? You're darned tootin' I did! Go ahead, tell me why I'm wrong.

So for the five of you out there who actually own Blu-Ray devices, or maybe for those of you who just love having really neat, yet useless gadgets, the CopyWriter Blu-Ray might be for you. But before you break your piggy bank and pick one of these up, it's going to run you a cool $19,995 for the ten-recorder system and $8,995 for the four-recorder system, so watch out.

USB Rota-Rota HubProduct: USB Rota-Rota Hub by Brando

You've probably noticed that several of the gadgets in our "Geek Your Cube" series are powered via USB. And if you want to use all of them at once, you're most likely going to run out of USB ports on your computer. That's why owning the USB Rota-Rota Hub will come in handy!

Description: The USB Rota-Rota Hub contains four USB 2.0 ports in which each can be angled up to 180 degrees so that you don't get that messy look when all of your cables are coming out of your computer.

How It Works: Connect any USB device to the hub, and then connect the included cable from the hub to your computer's USB port. You'll know the hub is working when the LED indicator lights up red. The hub is also backwards compatible with USB 1.1. Works with Mac and Windows.

Performance: I connected the USB Aroma Oil Burner, USB Heating Gloves, USB Beverage Chiller, and the iSharpener to the hub. All of them operated well.

Overall: The USB Rota-Rota Hub is one of my favorite gadgets in the Geek Your Cube series. It's so useful, considering my computer only supports USB 1.0.

Buy the USB Rota-Rota Hub for $16.

LightcastI'm an LED lunatic. I love any type of gadget or gizmo with flashing lights! That's why I'm telling you about this new interactive music light show called Lightcast. Designed by Farm Fresh, it's a customizable projector that connects to your iPod, MP3 player, stereo system or computer, and lights up in different colors to the beat of your music.

Lightcast uses 33 LEDs to offer you four light modes: Smooth, Flow, Vibe and Pulse. With these modes, you can program the projector to mix up the sequence of the modes to create your very own light show. And you can choose either the focusing lens or mirror option to also customize your light show.

I can see the Lightcast becoming very popular at birthday parties and Bar Mitzvahs, since you can project the lights on to the ceiling, walls or any other angle for a truly fun dance party!. Lightcast is 8 inches in diameter and stands less than three inches high. It includes a remote control, audio input cable and an AC adapter. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Expect a review of the Lightcast soon!

Get the Lightcast for $35.95.

Thanks to Consumer Electronics Reviews Editor Brian Bennett for the tip!
