Last night in CES-gaming-land was all about Project Natal. Sure it's an innovative new way to control videos games, but in terms of sheer oddness, it's got nothing on Cambridge Consultants' Suma. It's a little jelly-ball that lets users control games by waving it around and squeezing it.
The controller "offers [an] intuitive, high resolution experience, according to the company. The controller can come in all manner of shapes, including the above ball and a flat pad that the company was also showing. According to Cambridge, it's also a lot cheaper than conventional button controllers.
No word on when such a thing might come to market, but the company is reportedly speaking with some third-party companies.
