 The drumbeats of Dell's phone plans grow louder, with The Wall Street Journal now chiming in that sources have told the paper that Dell plans to ship an Android phone in conjunction with AT&T in 2010.
The report also arrives with the standard "no comment" from Dell. We have one too: "Dell has not made any announcements about bringing a smart phone to the U.S. market," a Dell spokeswoman told PCMag's Sascha Segan earlier Wednesday.
Dell certainly knows how to design a PC, but the knock on Dell is that it sells a business model, not a particular product. Does Dell have the design chops of an HTC or Sony? Hard to say. But it's possible that the design might be heavily influenced by the ODM building the phone, or by Google itself.
