CallpodFueltankUno.jpg

Simplicity in tech is a great thing. Take Callpod's Fueltank portable charger, since renamed the Fueltank Duo. It can charge two devices at one time, but it costs a hefty $69.95.

For those who are happy charging one device at a time and would like to save some money, Callpod has just released the Fueltank Uno. It sells for a more reasonable $49.95. When fully charged, its lithium ion battery can charge a device three to five times. A backlit LED capacity indicator lets you know how much charge you've got left.

The Uno comes with adapters for the iPod or iPhone and miniUSB devices. You'll also get a voucher for one free adapter, redeemable on the Callpod Web site. If you hate getting low-power messages on your phone or music player, keep a loaded Fueltank on hand.
