MMO fans, casting spells just got a little easier. Razer, the premier gaming peripherals company, just unleashed the Razer Naga, a mouse created just for you. This right-handed mouse offers a 12-button grid where your thumb sits giving you an alternate way of calling up your keyboard's spell keys. That leaves your left hand free to work other keyboard controls.

The Naga comes with customization software that lets you create unlimited profiles for supported titles, and also program different in-game commands for each of your characters. For more, check out this YouTube video.

Razer also just introduced the Megasoma, a mousing surface that's designed to combine the best features of hard and soft mats. Razer says it offers the superior tracking and durability of a hard mat, as well as the smooth glide of a soft mat.

Both products were announced today at Gamescom 2009 in Cologne, Germany. The Naga sells for $79.99 and the Megasoma for $49.99.

This will take off, just like the Atari 5200, 7800, and Jaguar controllers did, LMFAO
Seriously Razer, nice effort but no cigar.

Have you guyz every played an mmo? there is nothing better then keybindings to your mouse. i play world of warcraft and i use a total of 36 keybindinds.(12differnt buttons ((1,2,3,4,5,q,e,v,b,mouse1, mouse2, mouse3)and then shift and ctr on all these buttons.) this mouse would enable me to play entierly with only my mouse. though this prolly would be the chouse. ITS AWESOME got to have one

It could definitely make sense for WoW. I know it seems mind boggling if you don't play MMORPGs specifically, but it would come in VERY handy if you took the time to get competent with it.

errrr. i know keybindings are amazing for wow.. and i assume other mmo's.. but 12? those buttons are prob so small, i think finding the right button in any short length of time will be very hard, even after getting used to it. People may typo's on keyboards all the time and we've been typing forever. 5 may be nice with some space between them.. but 12 seems like it'll just get confusing

Really scott? not to argue but I think you underestimate MMO kids and there dedication haha. They would (gladly) master a mouse like that in no time. Im guessing you dont play MMO's much because having the options do over 36 spells with only having to press CTRL or SHIFT or ALT on the keyboard, and not having to press the 1-= shit, not to mention the full access to your movment keys while attacking with spells would make things a TON easier and way more effective(no confusion involved=]) and Im guessing its more around like 15 or 16 bindings on the mouse, cant forget about mouse 1, 2, mousewheel, and you can ALT SHIFT CTRL those mo fo's too, complete access to damn near every spell you know, all available on your mouse......god i want one. AION IS BETTER THEN WOW. haha
