Speculation about Apple's rumored forthcoming tablet will likely only continue to heat up as we edge closer to the company's supposed September event. The latest rumor, however, is that said device will, in fact, be a no-show at said event.
The Loop is citing "very reliable sources familiar with the product," stating that there will be no tablet until early 2010. Save for the iPhone, Apple tends to bring products to market the day they're announced--or at least within a matter of weeks.
The September event will instead reportedly be focused entirely on music--ie iTunes and iPods. Of course if the language here is to be believed, the tablet is definitely coming--just not quite as soon as anyone is hoping.

I have to admit, I saw this one coming. I think we'll just kick this mythical iTablet down the road until anyone has any real indication that it'll actually happen.
I don't really think it will, but who knows.
