CreativeSoundBlaster.jpg
Creative has been on a roll, delivering some great-sounding and, yes, creative audio accessories. The latest is the Sound Blaster Wireless for iTunes, which not only lets you play your songs in any room, but makes them sound even better.

The Sound Blaster works by plugging into a USB port on your Windows or Macintosh computer, then connecting the receiver to a set of powered speakers up to 100 feet away. An included remote lets you control the audio away from your computer, so you don't need to jump up whenever you want to skip a song.

Despite the name, the Sound Blaster Wireless for iTunes works with any audio source. Use it for Pandora, Slacker, Rhapsody, or Napster songs, for example, as well as your own iTunes tracks.

What sets the Sound Blaster Wireless apart from similar solutions is the inclusion of Creative's X-Fi audio enhancement technology, which really works to make your songs more rich and vibrant. I've use the Creative Xmod, which also uses X-Fi technology, and the difference is noticeable. It can also turn games and movies into virtual surround sound.

You can pick up the system from Creative.com or from Amazon for $149.99.
