CanonVixiaHG20.jpg

Yesterday I made a passing reference to Sarah Palin in this space and got eight responses, six of them bizarrely hostile. Thank you. You don't know how much that meant to me. I didn't think anyone read the introductions.

1. You'll shoot some gorgeous high-definition video this summer if you pick up the Canon Vixia HG20. It records in 1920-by-1080 full HD resolution and offers a 12X optical zoom. You don't even need to worry about storage cards, since it saves to a 60GB internal drive. Naturally, it includes image stabilization and a variety of shooting modes. J&R has it for $599 with free shipping.

2. With monitor prices this low, you might want to get an extra one so you can line them up and have a super-wide viewing experience at your desk. Buy.com is selling the Samsung 2033SW 20-inch widescreen LCD monitor for $153.99 (after $20 mail-in rebate) and that's with free shipping. It has a piano black finish that should enhance any office.

3. Your Xbox gaming console becomes a DVD player in one step when you buy the Xbox DVD Playback kit from Buy.com. It's going for $5.19, including shipping. The kit includes a remote and a sensor. Plug in the sensor and you're ready to start watching.

You are a schmuck for the comments you made about Palin with zero understanding that people are tired of hearing the one sided liberal drum beats regardless of party affiliation of the reader/listener. You should be glad you didn't get flooded with complaints.

Now on to the products listed, I'm all over that Canon like stink on the women you date.

By "bizarrely" I guess you mean, "I'm a typical elitist liberal who is smarter than and morally superior to anyone who disagrees with my smug contempt for people like Palin, who deserves all the pain and embarrassment we can heap on them for daring to represent the values of the half of the country that votes Republican." See, you find it "bizarre" because you have no respect for the views of others. You just laugh at them, then reassure yourself that you are right and they are idiots by turning on Letterman, Stewart, etc, etc, etc, who prove to you that you are right by showing you how funny and stupid Palin, Cheney, and Bush are, and how God-like and perfect Hussein, Pelosi, and Kennedy are. But, don't worry, I'm sure that as soon as the word gets out that a few real Americans have had the nerve to speak out, the leftist blog-trolls will flood this board with comments supporting you, but mostly attacking us.

Yes, "bizarrely hostile" accurately describes both Palin and her cult followers. So do the words "perpetual victims", "below average intelligence", and "shrill".

Ahh, welcome to the surface world, ACORN blog-troll.I hope your bed of straw and mud is comfortable under your bridge. You can cash your stimulus check now, and await the next sign of patriotic sentiment to which you will be compelled to simplistically react.

Haha - wow, I guess some people are just frothing at the mouth no matter where it is or what someone says, even if it's a joke. Seems like some people are still sore over recent events, or maybe just can't let go of their idols.

I think icarus is on point here. ;) I mean really - there's enough frothing-mad-hateful-right-wing blogs out there, you figure there'd be enough places to comment like this and be rewarded for willful ignorance, but I guess not!
