Our editor-in-chief Lance Ulanoff was at the Kindle DX launch event at Pace University in Manhattan today. Not only did he live blog the announcement and take photos, he also managed to shoot some quick video of the new widescreen eBook reader during the hands-on time after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos's presentation. it really looks great although one of the hopes was that this would be something that could be used by Middle and High School kids to help alleviate the weight of all the books they carry back and forth - it looks extremely delicate so i am not sure it could withstand their abuse, do you?
