Here's a fun little rumor that may likely get lost in all of this morning's Apple-buying-Twitter talk. Apparently in some circles there's also a good deal of "chatter" that the Cupertino-based company is also looking to buy gaming giant Electronic Arts.
Not a whole lot of information on this one, and honestly, even with the company's new found focus on casual gaming for the iPhone and the hiring of a couple of old Xbox executives, such a rumor seems to grasping during a relatively slow news week. So for the time being, move along, there's nothing to see here.

Not so fast! With John Madden, a very close golfing & skiing buddy of Ballmer, out of football, EA no longer has the need to kowtow to his ridiculous demands, like making sure inferior coding is done to keep Mac/Apple-based products at a price & performance disadvantage to its PC counterpart. It is well known Madden wielded a mighty hand at EA...all to the giddy delight of Monkey Boy. So now a sick yet still keenly alert Jobs has seized upon this moment to coup d'état Ballmer/Madden from the board room and possibly seize this incredible asset.
Man, I can't wait 'til the new windsurfing & polo games from EA come out for Macs!!
Of course, I'm being completely facetious. :-)

"Oh and one more thing, we bought Electronic Arts and Twitter..."
