You've got to hand it to Chinese manufacturers--they don't let a little thing like international copyright law get in the way of smashing two awesome gadgets into a third awesomely Frankensteinian device. The subtly named NokiPhone N3000i combines the Nokia N95 dual slider with an iPhone.

This things got a 3.2-inch QVGA screen, WiFi, a microSD slot, Bluetooth 2.0, and more, for a fraction of the devices it imitates. OK, so maybe it'll stop working five minutes after you get it out of the box, but $129 is a mall price to pay for a few moments of awesome, right?

Oh, that's just terrible. I wonder if anyone ever falls for these things. I mean, I suppose they do, if these scams keep popping up.

Go ahead and laugh. Remember Made In Japan? They started shrinking portable radios and everyone laughed at their junk. Well they quickly came up to speed and quality and now make the best audio, video as well as automobiles! Wake up America! We may make big stuff well, heavy duty trucks, airplanes, and construction equipment, but how long before those are taken over by cheap oversea labor? Let's do something different, compete! Build a better product, innovate! Oh that's right, our leaders have already sold this country down the river, so China can now manufacture everything else we are good at and we can all become service workers. Nice.

@joe: I think this might have gone over your head - the gadget shown in the ad is obviously an iphone or an ipod touch with a keyboard mocked up to the bottom.

It's a gag...

I am not surprised...considering half of the world's consumer electronics comes from China...it is no big deal that it can have several small companies who make all these phones...

totally agree with Joe Calderone. I think if this is made in other countries , the article probably will not say that it stop working 5 mins out of the box. come on , dont be a sour grape.
