There are few things in this world that can make you feel quite so old as the birthday of a beloved gadget. Sure it seems like only yesterday, but the Game Boy--surely a Game Man by now--is celebrating its 20th birthday. The device, which revolutionized--if not pioneered--the world of portable console gaming was first released by Nintendo in 1989.
Since then the Game Boy has grown into one of the most beloved dynasties in all the gaming world. So take a moment and raise your DSi to toast the device that started it all.

some video games will remain legendary ...nintendo Gameboy is definitely one of them...awfully easy to use...and user friendly.

This was one of the best inventions in the world...entertainment world, that is. I still have the (above picture) one. It's still amazing, even now. Nintendo, You're awsome!!

All I have is a gameboy advanced sp, and I think the gameboy is awesome

I have one of the first Gameboy that came out still in the box, is there a value on this, is it a collectors item?
