Fisker Automotive has confirmed that its upcoming Karma four-door electric sedan will run on batteries supplied by Advanced Lithium Power, a Canadian company that supplies the U.S. military with batteries, according to the LA Times. In addition, Fisker wil also invest heavily in the company and claim two seats on its board.
Fisker said in the article that the first $87,900 production models would be completed by the end of 2009. However, customers wouldn't see them until the spring of 2010, according to the report. Somewhere along the way, Fisker plans to open about 95 dealerships in the U.S. and Europe. To date, Fisker has raised about $100 million in capital.

What a waste of manpower and resources. Manmade global warming or even actual global warming is a long way from being determined as a fact but by those who want it to be a fact. The data is biased and the conclusions from this data are definitely biased.

Nelson, forget about global warming. Plug-in hybrids are the only way to get the driving culture of America and elsewhere to drastically reduce gas consumption. Not only will this reduce dependence on foreign oil, but it will also solve urban air pollution and smog. Not even biofuels can do the latter.
