Targus announced new products today at CES, including new lines of laptop bags and cooling products.

The maker of the world's top-selling laptop computer cases and accessories introduced new cases, which include the Venture collection, the latest in Targus's checkpoint-friendly laptop bags; and Targus' new fashion line of laptop cases.

The Venture bags can fit laptops up to 15.6 inches wide. Available in both backpack and topload bags (above), the bags allow your laptop to stay in the case when going through airport security. The unique design separates the laptop on one side while the other holds the rest of your belongings. The backpack has an estimated street price of $99.99, and the Venture Topload bag has an estimated street price of $79.99.

More new products after the jump.

The Intersection line, the first of four different fashion bags, has three styles--backpack ($49.99), slipcase ($19.99), and slip attaché ($39.99)--and comes in black or burgundy. The bags are lightweight, but have durable material that protects against scratches and scuffs. All three bags fit 15.6-inch laptops.

Targus's Echoes line has a rippled design and thin, easy-to-carry bags. Echoes comes in four styles, including backpack ($49.99), slip attache ($39.99), slipcase ($29.99), and netbook slipcase ($24.99). They are offered in black or a cool gray and teal combination. The backpack offers a separate dual file compartment and padded shoulder straps.

The Madrid line holds laptops up to 15.6-inch screens. The slipcase is made of black genuine leather, and is designed for those who prefer high-quality and superior detailing. The bag has an estimated street price of $69.99.

Choosing another city to base a laptop bag on, the Rio is similar in sophistication to the Madrid. The Rio comes in black or white genuine leather, and has a full zip-around slipcase design to easily access your laptop. It has an estimated street price of $49.99.

As for the cooling products, Targus has five new cooing mats on the market. They're compatible with PCs and Macs, and are built to help protect your workspace and laptop from heat damage by providing air ventilation to help in performance. Also, many of the cooling mats can be used while the laptop is sitting on your lap, which protects you and your laptop.

The Chill Mat for Laptops ($29.99) is equipped with dual USB-powered fans, and fits up to 15.6-inch notebooks. The Chill Mat XC ($39.99) and Chill Hub XC for Laptops ($54.99) are designed for laptops up to 17-inches. The Chill Hub XC offers an integrated 4-port USB hub. The CoolWave (above), a uniquely stylish stand, allows for optimal airflow, and runs for $19.99. The Stow-N-Go Chill Mat for Laptops ($24.99) is ideal for busy professionals on the go with its portable cooling and built-in cable storage making it easy to store.

All of the above products will be available in March, so keep an eye out for them.
