When historians look back on Adult Expo 2009 (assuming, of course, that said historians have a lot of free time on their hands), surely the big trend of the show will be the emergence of adult-themed booths/kiosks, sort of the early 21st century version of that old porn shop standby, the peep show.
At lot of the units at the show were actual sit down booths--they look a big like a traditional mall photo booth. Occupants get inside, draw the curtain (hopefully), and insert $5 for a movie. FlashNGo's units, on the other hand, are actually rental kiosks, akin to the type that you might find at your local supermarket.
One of the machines will dispense the DVD you order, and, when you're done with it, you drop it back off at the box. The one pictured, however, is even more forward thinking. Customers bring a USB thumbdrive to port said movies onto their computers.
Oh porn industry, is there anything you won't think of?
