Perhaps already through with its winter line of heater-equipped devices, Thanko's introducing new iterations of its Butterfly Player and Video Pen devices. Thanko's Butterfly Player is a behind-the-head headset with built-in FM and MP3 player. There's a built-in lithium-ion battery equipped as well, along with an internal memory of either 512MB or 1GB. Given Thanko's track record for odd devices, this one's positively boring.
The new video pen model on the other hand has a larger storage capacity at 4GB compared to earlier versions. The pen has a pinhole camera for some amateur sleuthing (and hopefully nothing more outrageous than that) or security cam purposes and a USB connector for instant easy video clip transfer. Its 4GB storage capacity can record 30 hours of video, although the lithium-ion battery could only last for two hours, so that's the limit of what can be recorded at any one time.
