Philips is skipping CES next month: The company instead rolled out next year's products at an event last night in New York. Hidden among the home theater and shelf speaker options announced were three new flash MP3 players--all below $100--as part of the company's GoGear line.

The GoGear LUXE, the most expensive option, at $89.99 and $99.99 for 2 or 4GB, sports a "jewel and mirror" finish with a text-only LCD display and Bluetooth capabilities. The Raga ($34.99 and $44.99 for the same capacities) and the Spark ($49.99 and $59.99 for the same capacities; shown above) both sport OLED screens--something the LUXE lacks.

The devices are tiny, have USB 2.0 connectivity for loading, support MP3 and WMA (which is pretty meager--hopefully the full specs actually offer more), EQ to adjust bass and treble, and have FM radios with 20 programmable presets. Not bad for tiny, cheap players. The Raga also features "colorful faceplates" that you can switch out depending on your mood or outfit. Clearly, Philips is angling these players as fashion accessories, as well.

The Spark and the Raga are available now, and the LUXE will hit stores in January.
