Whether officially or unofficially, Activision's massively popular Guitar Hero has been ported to just about every platform possible. So it's almost a no-brainer that the game would be coming soon to an arcade near you. The company has announced the upcoming release of Guitar Hero Arcade, with a little help from co-conspirators Konami and Raw Thrills.
The details are pretty sparse at this point, but it will be interesting to see how the game's very specific peripherals will translate to an arcade setting. Also, as Offworld points out, the noisy arcade setting may not be ideal for a game so dependent on its soundtrack.

that's awesome!!!:)
now there's a guitar hero in the arcade.
normally i'd go to a best buy, gamestop or a electronic store to play this game. but put it this way, if u spend $20 dollars a day playing this game in three months u can buy this game plus a xbox 360,ps3 or a wii and still play this game at home without spending alot of money. play $20 a day in one year you can atually buy the arcade game and put it in your house.
