The holidays are getting closer and closer. And the more compulsive among us have already finished buying gifts, wrapping them, and stowing them in the closet or the car.
But if you've chosen to procrastinate your holiday shopping, all is not yet lost! Web shopping may save you. We've collected deadlines from some of the biggest online shopping sites, so you'll know exactly how long you can wait to shop and still get your gifts delivered by Christmas Eve.
1. Amazon.com:
- Wednesday, Dec. 17: Last day for free Super Saver Shipping (free on orders of $25 and over). Also, this is the last day for gift cards to be sent through the mail, but gift cards sent through e-mail at any time.
- Thursday, Dec. 18: Last day for standard shipping.
- Sunday, Dec. 21: Last full day to order and receive two-day shipping.
- Monday, Dec. 22: Last full day to order and get one-day shipping for $3.99 per item with Amazon Prime, and free two-day shipping with Amazon Prime (roder as late as 3 p.m. PST).
- Tuesday, Dec. 23: One-day shipping for $3.99 per item with Amazon Prime (order as late as 3 p.m. PST).

2. Overstock.com:
- Thursday, Dec. 18: Last day to order for standard ground shipping (order by 1:59 a.m. EST).
- Monday, Dec. 22: Last day to order for two-day shipping (order by 1:59 a.m. EST).
- Tuesday, Dec. 23: Last day to order for next-day shipping (order by 12 p.m. EST).
3. Best Buy:
- Sunday, Dec. 21: Guaranteed standard, expedited, or express shipping if you order by 11:59 p.m. local time.
- Monday, Dec. 22: Orders made before 11 a.m. EST guarantees you expedited and express shipping.
- Tuesday, Dec. 23: Orders made before 11 a.m. EST gets you express shipping guaranteed.
- Wednesday, Dec. 24: Stores close at 3 p.m. local time, and you can get in store pickup until then. Also, store pickup is available for all previous dates.
4. Target:
When you purchase a product from Target's Web site, the checkout will tell you how long the product takes to ship. Look at the list below to see which option will work for you.
- Usually ships in 24 hours: Last day for standard shipping is Dec. 18; last day for two-day shipping is Dec. 21; last day for one-day shipping is Dec. 22.
- Usually ships in 1-2 days: Last day for standard shipping is today; last day for two-day shipping is Dec. 19; last day for one-day shipping is Dec. 21.
- Usually ships in 1-2 business days: Last day for standard shipping is Dec. 17; last day for two-day shipping is Dec. 18; last day for one-day shipping is Dec. 19.
- Usually ships in 3-5 days: Last day for two-day shipping is today; last day for one-day shipping is Dec. 17.
5. Buy.com:
- Wednesday, Dec. 17: Standard shipping for all categories (orders placed by 12 p.m. PST).
- Thursday, Dec. 18: Second Day Air for sports and bags products (orders placed by 12 p.m. PST).
- Sunday, Dec. 21: Second Day Air for electronics, computer hardware and software, toys, home and outdoor, books, music, videos, and games. Next Day Air for sports (orders placed by 12 p.m. PST).
