Volkswagen is showing off the Jetta TDI Street Concept at SEMA 2008 in Las Vegas, AutoblogGreen reports. The car features no engine changes, but does show a larger air intake, rocker panels, and a new rear valence, not to mention some upgrades underneath the skin.

Volkswagen fitted GLI-spec upgraded brakes and sway bars to the Jetta TDI and also added larger alloy wheels. The report said that VW hasn't yet decided whether or not they want to produce the car, so they're polling consumers at the show; in the meantime, given VW's propensity to send the sticker price of the Jetta soaring, it wouldn't be surprising if this package neared the $30k mark.
