It may look like a UMPC, but UMID's F1 is actually a GPS-enabled device meant specifically for use in the car. It includes a 7-inch, 800-by-480-pixel LCD touchscreen, HSDPA and WiMAX connectivity, a low-voltage VIA C7-M 1.2GHz processor, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity—and it also runs Windows XP Home.
As Engadget reports, the UMID F1 also includes a GPS receiver, DMB TV tuner, FM tuner, and a remote control. It's available in Korea with either 512MB of 1GB of RAM and a range of storage options up to 60GB. There's no word yet on pricing or whether or not we'll see a version on these shores.
