While the rest of us lowly mortals try to make ends meet, a few affluent Japanese are surely eyeing Softbank's new 823SH. The Sharp-made handset has a platinum body that's barely visible under the 537 Tiffany diamond studs that encrust the clamshell phone. Sure, the $130,917 price tag is definitely not timely given the current economic climate, but it's not like SoftBank considers everybody a target market anyway.
While millionaires are plenty in the country, there will only be 10 of these SoftBank 823SH handsets to be sold; its limited edition status adding more to its value. Still, for $130,917, I'd expect something so awe-inspiring I'd never look at other handsets again. I doubt that will be the case though; if anything, the SoftBank 823SH Tiffany phone will most probably be just another Japanese clamshell phone other than its 18.34 carat diamond shell.

This is absolutely ridiculous...$130k for a sick watch... I think who ever buys this, should be arrested on accounts of having a lot of "black" money that need to go as Tax! This money should go to charities!!
