Someone finally came out with a product that should have been part of the Kindle in the first place. Periscope Products released a pre-sale today for its new Periscope Lighted Folio, which features a retractable reading light, deluxe Kindle cover, a notepad and a pen holder all in one package. Now you can finally read your Kindle in low-light environments.
The product will be available for delivery next month, but you can pre-order it as of today for $49.95. The light is powered by three AA batteries that least about 40 hours. You can also buy a mini-travel 110-220V AC adapter separately instead of using batteries. The cover has a magnetic snap closure to keep your Kindle safe when traveling.
Or, you could go to Target and buy a reading light for $4.

I think I will pass.. look at the way this guy is reading it.. no one I know holds a kindle that way.. the beauty of a kindle is the one handed feature and the ablility to flip the cover back , also most people don't need a light 90% of the time so why carry the extra bulk (and a note pad and pen.. more weight).. I will stick to my collection of covers and clip on that 4.00 light mentioned above from Target.. too much bulk!! Not practical.. nice look but it needs to go back to the drawing board

M-edge accessories has a similar and much more svelte product. The Periscope looks gigantic and very obtrusive. check out www.buymedge.com
