Motorola's RAZR may not be the top selling US cellphone anymore, but the handset certainly has its advantages. According to a Louisiana resident, R.J. Richards, the thin cell phone saved his life, stopping a stray .45-caliber bullet from entering his chest.
Richards, who was mowing his lawn at the time, initially though that the impact was a stone kicked out of his trailer. The 68-year-old, who says he usually puts his phone in his pants rather than his chest pocket, pulled the handset out, only to have it fall apart.
Richards chalked the whole thing up to divine intervention. The bullet, meanwhile, likely came from hunters on Richards' property.
