Ford has updated their popular, mid-priced Fusion sedan for 2010 and added a Hybrid variant. The company claims the new model will best the Toyota Camry Hybrid in fuel economy by 6 mpg and also features the SmartGauge cluster with Eco Guide I reported on last month.
The new car also includes updated front and rear fascias, a redesigned interior, support for Ford SYNC, SIRIUS TravelLink, BLIS (the company's new Blind Spot Information System) with Cross Traffic Alert, and a Sony entertainment system as options. The car will go on sale this spring as a 2010 model, with three gas engine options in addition to the Hybrid model.
