Don't have $250 for a Wii? Well, maybe you can afford the next best thing: The Jakks Pacific UltiMotion Swing Zone Sports.
The UltiMotion Swing Zone Sports, whose controllers use the same type of technology the Wii remote uses, comes with baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, and football games. What distinguishes UltiMotion Swing Zone from the Wii is that the game controllers look like real sports equipment. For example, when playing baseball on the UltiMotion, you snap the controller inside the baseball bat provided. This makes it feel like you're really playing that game.
The UltiMotion Swing Zone Sports includes a game console with an AV cable, game controller and five controller accessories. It can play up to two players at a time. To play simply insert two AAA batteries for the game controller and four AA batteries for the game console and let the fun begin.
The UltiMotion Swing Zone Sports sells for $69.96, at Walmart and other retailers.

I bought this game at Walmart for $49.99. It's great. A whole lot of fun. It's not a Wii. I call it the Waa, but it's defintely the next best thing for those who don't have $250.00 to spare. Any kid would probably enjoy it. Just wish it offered boxing as a game choice.

Hi All
Can somebody guide me how to resync the controller, as i have lost the guide or booklet and now the controller is not activating. Anybody's help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Step 1: Turn off game console and turn it back on again.
Step 2: Press the A button on the controller
Step 3: If sync has not been re-established after about 30 seconds, press and hold both the B Button and Menu Button on the controller. (This should cause the controller's LED to blink rapidly). While still holding the B Button and Menu Button, press the Sync Button on the Game Consold for 1 second, then release the B Button and Menu Button on the controller.
Wait several seconds for the controller to attempt to sync with the game console. Once the game and controller have synced, the red LED light on the controller should be blinking slower (once every 2 seconds)
If sync has still not been established, press the pin hole button on the backside of the controller to restart. Then repeat steps 1-3 making sure you have fresh batteries.

I bought the game for $49.99 at Walmart. I absolutely love it! The adults played it for four hours before we wrapped it up for the kids' Christmas. Now, all of us have something we can play together. We get to bowl when we don't have the money to go out and play baseball even when it's raining. The kids (6 and 5) are learning to share and take turns, guided by the game's directions.
I couldn't recommend this enough.

So, I posted earlier about how much I love this game. Well, three days after Christmas, the damned thing broke and we haven't been able to play it since. It has been at the back of the closet waiting to learn to resync for nine months. Such a shame as this was a really fun game to play for the family.
