Brabus_Tesla_Roadster.jpg

Brabus, the famous car tuner, has turned its focus to Tesla's all-electric Roadster, but as AutoWeek reports, the result is a little different from what the company usually produces. "Unlike its usual strategy with conventional cars, there are no Brabus upgrades to the Roadster's powertrain and no massive body kits added to the sides."

Instead, the whole conversion consists of neon body lights, leather floor coverings, and a "space sound generator." Er, pardon me while I contain my enthusiasm as it bubbles over onto my computer keyboard.

"Occupants on-board the Tesla Roadsters can choose from several simulated engine sounds including that of a typical V8 engine, a race-car engine and two futuristic soundscapes named 'Beam' and 'Warp,'" the company said in a statement. On a slightly more conventional note, Brabus fitted Pirelli P Zero Nero tires, ultra-light alloy wheels, and a carbon fiber front lip.
