Best Buy is not one to be outdone in the gift card department. Sure, Target has just released a gift card in the form of a tiny digital camera, but the old blue-and-gold has a few tricks up its sleeve as well.
The electronics retailer will be issuing a gift card this year in the form of a miniature speaker, complete with a 3.5mm jack that can be connected up with an iPod or nearly any other audio gadget. The sound quality, I'm sure, is crystal-clear.
As with Target and its camera-card, Best Buy is issuing the speaker-card to customers who pick up a gift certificate in a denomination of $50 and higher. The retailer is tossing in free shipping, for good measure. Personally, I'm holding out for a EEE PC gift certificate. That can't be too far off, right?
