It's official, the long-awaited first iteration of the Google phone is finally available. T-Mobile's G1, the first handset to run Google's open-source Android mobile OS launched today nationwide.
Users can purchase the handset online via T-Mobile or at select retail locations across the country. T-Mobile has opened all of its retail storefronts at 8 AM this morning, in anticipation of increased demand.
T-Mobile has also launched an online collaborative forum, where G1 owners can get information, ask questions, and share tips.
