If you feel like spoiling yourself—just a little—Car and Driver has a list of the ten most decadent car options available today. The list starts with a rather tame $1,000 BMW Comfort Access option that lets gadget-crazed owners run the windows up and down from the key fob, as well as unlock the doors and start the engine "without going to all the trouble of taking the key out of your pocket or putting it in the ignition." It gets much crazier from there.
Other options include a $12,000 Designo leather interior for the Mercedes S, SL, and CL-Class (pictured, above), $1820 Mercedes Drive Dynamic seats that massage you while you drive, and a $12,675 Lexus Executive Package that includes a reclining rear seat, an extended leg rest, and apparently not much else. My favorite, though, is the incredibly useless, $12,100 Starlight headliner on the Rolls Royce Phantom (pictured, top); it includes 1600 pinpoint lights. Essentially, it emulates a night sky so that you can see starlight when it's cloudy.
