Vehicle security and wireless expert BlackLine has released a new product called Seeker -- a GPS-based theft deterrent system that wards off seedy characters by surrounding your car with a virtual defense perimeter.
If an unfriendly party happens to gain access to your vehicle and take it out of the safe zone established by BlackLine's wireless Aura technology, Seeker will not only notify you via SMS or email, but also instantly alert the BlackLine Recovery Service, which will in turn contact local police. The product is wired into a vehicle's battery using either 12VDC or 24VDC power systems. Users can also monitor the Seeker remotely by logging into their user account and tracking all system functions in real time. What's more, the program is compatible with BlackBerry's Blip as well as other BlackLine security applications.
"Seeker is designed to protect your vehicular assets and provide users with continual peace of mind. If their Car, Truck, RV, ATV, or Bike is ever stolen, the BlackLine Recovery Service works with the authorities to quickly recover the vehicle for the owner," said Patrick Rousseau, President of BlackLine."
