The Toyota iQ hasn't even hit the road yet, and already the rumor mills are churning away, with Carscoop reporting that Toyota is readying a two-seater roadster model based on the underpinnings of the iQ, including the same engine lineup.
According to Germany's Auto Motor & Sport magazine, Toyota will reveal a concept study of the iQ Roadster at the next Tokyo Motor Show to be held from Friday, October 23 through Sunday, November 8, 2009 November 2009. There's no official word (or even rumor) as to whether or not this indicates a production version will follow, but with the Smart running around as a cabrio, I don't see why not.
