For those who love listening to music in the bath, JVC released a water-proof speaker called SP-AW303 (SP for "splash proof"). The speaker's front is covered with a protective screen for protection, with a soft rubber sheet preventing water from seeping into the device, so it can be operated even with wet hands. The speakers have a 450mW × 2ch max output although there's also a built-in headset jack. Measuring 128 × 76 × 170mm, JVC SP-AW303 runs on four AA batteries with a running time of six hours. It will be available starting November in Japan in three colors - pink, blue and white - for approximately $40 per.
