USB Flashing Pumpkin LEDs

You may not know this already, but I'm a huge Halloween fan. That's why I had USB Brando send me its USB Halloween Pumpkin Decor Light set ($13) to add to my Halloween decorations here at PC Magazine. It's hard to tell by the photo here, but they do flash an orange color.

The set has eight blinking LED lights on a string and is powered by USB. Since my cubicle's one power outlet is already taken, having these lights be USB powered sure comes in handy. The light's USB cable is surprinsingly long, in case there's a stretch between a free USB port and where you want to hang the lights.

I kind of wish there was an option to turn the flashing part off (staring at them long enough would probably send anyone into epileptic shock). Or perhaps a way to adjust the speed of the flashes. Still, they're fun lights for any Halloween freak like me.
