EGO_CUP_FM.jpg

Funkwerk Americas, the maker of the EGO line of hands-free devices, is now shipping the EGO CUP FM, a new version of the EGO CUP Bluetooth car speaker. The EGO CUP FM adds Caller ID, an FM transmitter, Bluetooth music streaming (A2DP / AVRCP) and a stereo auxiliary input to the regular EGO CUP.

The FM transmitter portion can either pipe calls through the car stereo, or stereo music (via A2DP). The EGO CUP FM also includes DSP circuitry with noise and echo cancellation, and a rechargeable lithium ion battery that's rated at 7 hours of talk time and 500 hours of standby time. It can pair with up to eight different devices and comes with a two year warranty. The EGO CUP FM lists for $149.99; the older model is still available.
