Electric Motorsport is now selling their GPR-S e-motorcycle, an $8,000 EV with a top speed in the 60-70 mph range and a cruising distance of 35 to 60 miles on a single charge, according to Engadget. It also features a unique modular design.
Let's say that somewhere down the line, the company develops a more efficient power system. At that point, you could just remove the old one and swap in the new one—a great idea for fast-paced emerging tech like this. The report said that the bike can charge up fully in about four hours during a regular charging process, or just 1.5 hours using an optional speed charger. Impressively, the company has already sold 25 of these, showing that it's a real product that's available for purchase.
