This gas-saving GPS gadget made by Pioneer comes straight from the CEATEC floor in Japan. The device is offered with what the company calls the "detachable brain" -- a plug-in unit that can be synced to a PC for post-trip analysis of driving patterns as well as a listing of least expensive gas stations. Not covered in this video, it is also likely to include an entertainment module with DVD/MP3 playback. The system is currently marketed as Cyber Navi in Pioneer's eco friendly market segment and currently available in Japan. If this video report is accurate, the device should be making its way stateside in the months to come.
