At PhotoPlus Expo 2008, Casio flaunted the speed of its $999 Exilim Ex-F1 by recruiting cheerleaders to perform flips on AstroTurf. Show-goers were encouraged to shoot the cheerleaders in motion with the new blazing-fast Exilim. This 6-megapixel, 12X-zoom camera has a lengthy list of features, but one of its best tricks is its ability to take 60 6MP still images per second. Bottom line: This camera will not let you miss a moment.
I had a chance to try the camera. I didn't post all 60 of the photos I took over the course of a second-- just the ones that drive the point across (check the series out after the jump).
Besides taking so many shots so quickly, the camera is also capable of recording HD video at 1080i, 720 at 30 fps and some interesting low-resolution videos that contain high amounts of frames (336 by 96, 1200 fps).
