attboldsmall.jpg Looks like they've finally figured out their software problems. AT&T announced today that the BlackBerry Bold will launch in the US on Tuesday, Nov. 4 for $299.99 with 2-year contract and mail-in rebate.

According to AT&T, the Bold will have all the hardware goodness we found in our Rogers Bold review, including HSDPA, aGPS and Wi-Fi. AT&T will bring their Navigator Global Edition GPS software, which gives turn-by-turn directions and a local business finder service in 20 countries; support for all AT&T Wi-Fi hotspots, including Starbucks stores; and AT&T's various music programs, including XM Radio Mobile and MobiTV.

No word on whether AT&T and RIM have supplied a patch to improve the performance of the Web browser, which was the Rogers Bold's major performance problem when we tested it.

We'll have a review of the AT&T Bold as soon as we can get one in, but for now you can check out our review of the Rogers Bold or read the full press release on RIM's site.
