Honda has finally taken the wrapping off its redesigned 2009 Honda Element, a more mature iteration of the funky SUV the company originally debuted back in 2001. Autoblog is reporting that the car will start at $20,175 for a 2WD LX model, and range up to $25,185 for a 4WD EX with Honda's Satellite-linked navigation.

It largely retains the original's design, but includes a new rear lift gate and new front grille that resembles the one on the Pilot. It also ditches the plastic body cladding of the original model. Inside, you'll find new color combinations, new upholstery, updated switchgear, faux-titanium accents, and a new convertible center console with a removable cooler and a place to connect your iPod.
