Is that a high-capacity Flash drive in your pocket or...aw, never mind.
Transcend has upped the ante for really, really big Flash drives with its new JetFlash V20. The drive holds a whopping 64GB. That, I'm sad to say, is 24GB more than my Powerbook at home.
Also, Transcend wants you to know about its "attractively shaped pearlescent chassis," blah, blah, blah. Dude, seriously. The chassis could be made out of a dead rat, for all I care.
The JetFlash V20 also comes with a bunch of software, including Web site AutoLogin, Mobile Favorites, Secret-Zip, DataBackup, and more. Oh, and there's a lifetime warranty on this thing too. At the very least, it should hold you until someone comes out with a 128GB Flash drive next week.
UPDATE: According to Transcend, the MSRP for this drive is $279.

I've seen it listed for around $179, and aladin, you're right... there was a serious lack of information in this article.

Calm down, kids. Pricing information wasn't available when we wrote the post. (MuffinMania, if you could point us all to where you saw that price, I'd be grateful.) I have a query into the company, and we'll update the post as soon as they determine pricing.

Wow! And I thought this 8GB Shintaro Slimline Pocket Disk I got from http://www.pressdigital.com.au/ was big enough on storage and features already. It looks like the 64GB Transcend Flash Drive has the features of a portable computer already and the only thing missing is the monitor. But at $279 it should be worth the price! But that's just above board to me so I think I'll settle for this $59 Shintaro USB.
