From the "smaller is better" department, a great find from thehottestgadgets.com. It's a rundown of some of the smallest, coolest (and in a few cases), useless gadgets known to man.
I like the idea of a tiny solar powered car and miniscule MP3 player (it looks to be built into a submini audio plug), but some of the other finds value tiny over practical. I have enough trouble with the buttons on my cellphone now. Do I really want the world's smallest cameraphone (pictured above)?
A friend of mine is a private investigator. He would really appreciate the world's smallest camcorder. It looks to be about the size of a pack of gum, which itself has grown smaller over the years!
Some of the finds are curiosities. Some are prototypes which will find utility within larger systems over time. Others are just plain nuts. I'm just not flying in the world's smallest personal helicopter--I'm just not.
