Hey, remember the Tamagotchi? It's that egg-shaped pocket pet game that was a hit from way back when. Believe it or not, it's still around and this time, Bandai Japan (its manufacturer) tries to make the Tamagotchi a bit more relevant to the times. Sent for a feature overhaul, the pocket pet game is now available as the Tamagotchi Plus Color which, as you might have guessed, sports a colored screen. The toy is equipped with a 1.52-inch TFT LCD with a 128×128 pixel resolution.
Aside from the fact that your little digital pet comes in rainbow colors, there are new multiple environments that it can move in. It now sleeps in a bedroom, does its business in the toilet, and even eats in the kitchen. Your pet can get to experience seasonal changes during events in the game and can go out for a stroll or a ride in the train, for shopping, for playing, and can even get its house renovated. Talk about an upgrade. The Tamagotchi Plus Color gets a Japan release on November 22 for about $48 a pop.

Actually, I love mine. It's so cute, and is well-built. I think it will last quite a long time. :)
