xohmlogo.jpg It looks like they did it. Today the XOHM Web site went live with details of how to get online with WiMax in Baltimore, with spotty coverage throughout the city and its suburbs. The Web site is pretty rich with coverage maps and options, and it also gives a list of the next cities to get XOHM: Boston, Providence, Philadelphia, Washington, Chicago and Dallas.

XOHM is launching with a $79.99 home modem and a $59.99 laptop ExpressCard, according to the Web site. The Nokia N810 Internet tablet, a USB modem and built-in laptop modem options will be coming soon.

Service options range from $10/day for a day pass, to $35/month for home use, $45/month for mobile use, and $65/month for two devices. There are discounts right now bringing those last three plans down to $25, $30 and $50 respectively.

XOHM products seem to be available through the Web site, or at stores around Baltimore. Check out more information at the XOHM Web site.

Wow...I usually don't have a reason to head up to Baltimore aside from the occassional convention and my favorite diner (the Paper Moon Diner, for anyone coming into the area) but it's good to see Charm City on the map for something tech-related!
