Lenovo today announced the release of its new X200 notebook and tablet. Both were originally slated for a September 13th announcement, but were push forward a week to coincide with the Pepcom Holiday Spectacular event in New York.

The ThinkPad X200 boasts a battery life of more than 13 hours and weighs just 2.4 pounds. The notebook also offers the same ruggedized top cover roll cage created for the X300.

The X200 tablet, meanwhile, weighs 10 percent less than its predecessor and clocks a battery life increased by almost 50-percent, according to Lenovo. It also features a full-sized keyboard and dual swivel display.
