Kia plans to debut a hybrid version of its cee'd hatchback, a car that the automaker currently sells around the world but not in the United States, AutoblogGreen reports, as a follow up to the company's earlier Rio hybrid.
The report said that Kia officials have indicated that it will unveil a hybrid Elantra for its home market sometime in 2009, after which will follow a hybrid version of the Sonata, which will debut at the L.A. auto show. The cee'd, meanwhile, will feature a gas engine and an electric motor, and it sports a nifty "eco-gauge" of some sort as is evidenced in the interior photo.
