Kensington Computer Products Group wants to make travel--and life--easier for you. The company came to our office last week to show off some new and cleverly designed peripherals, which we will do our best to get our hands on and try.
At left is pictured the 4-Port USB Charger ($29.99 list). You plug it into a wall socket, then connect up to four devices that are chargeable via their USB cords--no PC needed. (If you've lost any cables, Kensington sells replacement cables too.)
Also shown were car mounts for the iPhone and iPod ($29.99 a piece), each of which attaches to your car's interior in a different manner--one sticks to the windshield via suction, one has adhesive to attach to the dashboard, and the third uses your car's power port. All feature adjustable arms and feet, so they can wrap securely around variously sized devices.

We also saw the Media Sharing Cable ($59.99), a simple, great idea: It has a USB connector on each end, so you can connect two PCs and/or Macs directly and share media--or any kind of files--between them. It's plug and play, and you just drag and drop files between the two connected systems. This seems like an easy solution for switching to a new PC too.
Look for more gizmos from Kensington, and for our hands-on tests, here on Gearlog.
