I got the new Zune 120gb on the release date directly from the Microsoft company store. I was very excited to get it working and please with how easy it was to get setup and to sync. Then I tried to use it and that is where the problem started.
It will not stay on. It keeps shutting itself off no matter what I do. I made sure that the battery was fully charged. I even re-formatted it per MS/s instructions. No change. I have read where this has been an issue with the 30/80GB's and people tend to think it is static. I disagree. I will turn it on and just set it on the table and it does the same thing. I thought that maybe there was something wrong with playing some of the music files, but it does it even if I'm not playing music.
I am going to have it exchanged and give MS another shot. If the second one doesn't work then I guess I will have to get an Ipod.

@emanon,
Microsoft has a very good customer support so keep on calling and talking to higher management and you will easily get a replacement.
I have also reviewed the Zune 120GB, check it out on my blog.
