Opel announced that at the Paris Motor Show this coming October, the company will unveil two world premieres: the Insignia Sports Tourer, complete with two new engines for the entire Insignia range, and the Insignia ecoFLEX model. Details are scarce for now, but it's likely that the ecoFLEX will feature new gearing, minor styling updates related to improving aerodynamics, and low-rolling-resistance tires.

In addition to the ecoFLEX and the new Sports Tourer body style, the company will introduce two new engines: a 2.0-liter BiTurbo diesel with a clean tech combustion system making 190 hp, and a smaller 1.6-liter gasoline turbo engine that still makes a rather robust (for its size) 180 hp. Both engines will be Euro 5-certified, and all of the new product debuts point in the direction of the next Saturn Aura for the United States.
