
Travelon will be releasing its line of Checkpoint-Friendly travel laptop bags and casesincluding the wheeled computer case, computer briefcase, computer backpack, laptop protector, and laptop casein September and October. The products range in price from $29.99 to $189.99.
The Travelon Checkpoint Friendly Two-Compartment Wheeled Computer Case features a detachable laptop compartment so that travelers can keep their laptop safely inside the case during airport security. It also has a front organizer compartment and a rear compartment with file fans for paperwork. It will retail for $189.99 and will be available in early October.
With three compartments, the Computer Briefcase ($119.99, early October) features a padded laptop compartment (that's detachable from the case), a rear compartment with file fans for paperwork and a front compartment for organization. For the ladies, there's the Ladies Brief ($89.99 early October), which is made of quilted microfiber and also features a removable padded laptop compartment with an organizer.
If you prefer a backpack while traveling, Travelon's Computer Backpack offers a zippered front organizer, a second compartment to hold files, books, and an MP3 player, a mesh pocket to store a water bottle, and a removable padded laptop compartment. Look for it in early October with an MSRP of $109.99.
For those who already own a laptop bag and are simply looking for a checkpoint-friendly laptop case, Travelon offers several models. The first is the Adjustable Laptop Protector ($24.99 early September) that is said to virtually fit all laptop sizes. The other model is the Laptop Sleeve, which comes in small (for up to 10.5-inch laptop screens), medium (up to 15.5 inches), and Large (up to 17 inches). Available at the end of September, they will retail for $29.99, $39.99, and $44.99, respectively.
